A social media influencer from New York City is making a difference for shelter dogs one subway ride at a time. Bryan Reisberg created a dog backpack with an “adopt me” patch on it. Every week, he takes a shelter dog on a city adventure and posts videos of himself riding the subway with the adoptable pup.
His videos have gone viral! Each one showcases the dog’s playful personality. Since he started last July, the shelter has seen an increase in adoptions. “When people see a dog being happy, curious, and brave, they fall in love—and many of those dogs end up getting adopted,” says Reisberg.
