Every April, the skies explode with color at the Weifang International Kite Festival in China. Known as the birthplace of kites 2,400 years ago, Weifang is home to 60 kite manufacturers. Since the festival began in 1984, it has grown bigger each year. It now has participants from more than 60 countries!

Visitors will see kites shaped like dragons, whales, and even vegetables! Some kites are so large, they need dozens of people to fly them. The end result is a dazzling display of imagination, skill, and creativity!
