In August 2018, Lizzie Armanto became the first female skateboarder to conquer the loop track. Below are three statements about her feat . . . but one is a lie! Use your math smarts about circles to find the truths and the lie! Record your work and answer the online skill sheet/answer sheet.
The track’s diameter is 14 feet. That means Armanto traveled a total of 43.96 feet around the track.
Truth or Lie?
On one attempt, Armanto made it 3/4 of the way around the loop, traveling 270 degrees.
Armanto is 5.5 feet tall. When upside-down, her head is less than 7 feet above the ground!
