Florida has long been plagued by invasive species. People have released many different animals from elsewhere, like pythons, crocodiles, and lionfish. All these critters have caused big problems in the state. But the newest invader doesn’t slither or scuttle: It hops!

The growing population has caused problems for residents. They eat wiring and dig holes. So rescue groups are raising money to relocate these adorable pests before they create more chaos.
