Trash To Trolls

Danish artist Thomas Dambo created six giant surprises in the Western Australian countryside: large trolls made out of reclaimed wood! Since he was a kid, Dambo has made things from discarded objects. Now he turns old furniture, industrial pallets, and fallen branches into trolls.
“One of the reasons we have so much waste is that people don’t see the value in it,” Dambo says. “If people can see the amazing things we can make out of recycled objects, maybe they’ll think twice before throwing something out.”
It takes 750 hours to build each troll. Dambo has made a total of 99 trolls worldwide. How many years did it take to build all 99 trolls? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Record your work and answer on our Numbers in the News answer sheet.
