If you’re afraid of heights, this restaurant isn’t for you. Guests at Dinner in the Sky feast on meals made by top chefs 164 feet above the city of Brussels, Belgium.
Hakuna Matata, an agency specializing in food, and the Fun Group, an amusement park crane company, joined forces to create Dinner in the Sky. The restaurant’s original setup allowed 22 people to sit together. But after Covid-19 caused a temporary closure, the restaurant created several four-person tables. “It means all the public are sitting in sort of a bubble,” says Stefan Kerkhofs, the co-CEO.
The restaurant is open every day and takes reservations for one seating of lunch and two seatings of dinner. Dinner costs $350 per person, while a seat at weekend brunch is $180 per person.
