Based on the book of the same name, the movie The House With a Clock in Its Walls will chill you to the bone—just in time for Halloween. Young orphan Lewis Barnavelt, played by Owen Vaccaro, must help his magician uncle stop an evil plot to bring about the end of the world. From witches and warlocks to haunted cemeteries and black magic, the gothic horror mystery has all the spooky staples. That’s why Owen took the role! “I’d never done a magic or horror movie before. I’d only ever done comedies” he says. “I wanted to try something new.”
Read on for more about Owen Vaccaro and the book and movie. Then plug in the numbers to solve the equation below and reveal a final fact.
