By the Numbers: The World Cup
Every four years, the world’s greatest soccer players gather to play in the FIFA World Cup Tournament. Starting in June, teams from 32 countries will compete in stadiums across Russia to try to take home the trophy. Germany won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil—and is a favorite to win this year. But a German victory isn’t a sure thing, thanks to powerhouse teams from Argentina, Brazil, and England.
