One Smart Bus
Bus riders in National Harbor, Maryland, are getting to know Olli. That isn’t the name of their bus driver, though—there actually isn’t one. Olli is a small self-driving, electric bus made from 3-D printed parts. It’s designed to help cut down on inconvenient walks, such as treks between bus stops or across college campuses.
Olli can carry up to 12 riders and travels at an average speed of about 5 miles per hour. Instead of following a set route, riders can use an app to call Olli whenever and wherever is convenient for them—even to their front door!
Traveling at its average speed, how many minutes would it take Olli to drive 0.4 miles?
